The Continued provision of the Norwood and Brixton Foodbank…

St Margaret’s will continue to be the main warehouse for Norwood and Brixton Foodbank and support the local foodbanks across South London.

“As we acknowledge that Foodbanks are ‘More than Food’, we are looking at what else we can provide. We have strong links with CAP, offering debt advice and support for those struggling to manage their money. We have also just started our Eat Well, Spend Less project, which offers cookery courses to those wishing to learn to cook, or gain confidence in cooking healthy meals, on a budget.”

Community Groups and Events…

CAP - debt advice, ex-offenders and family Job club, mental health and lifestyle course, youth clubs that would include theatre & Film, dance & Performing Arts, Taekwondo, story time, education and learning. We would like to have a community café that will support parents and toddlers, young and elderly groups and offer a space for conferences, meetings, concerts and events.
