Younger Youthsayers @St Margaret, Streatham Hill aims to inspire and develop young musicians under 13 years old to build on their individual instrumental skills and to develop group playing skills so they can have fun and eventually move into Youthsayers main band. YouthSayers.
Youthsayers of Brixton continue to provide opportunity and a developmental path for all young people aged 13years+, with an interest in ensemble playing. Youthsayers strives to develop group playing skills, leadership skills, self- confidence, cultural appreciation and understanding, performance and instrumental skills. Youthsayers is led and run by members of Soothsayers and is funded by Arts Council England. We use jazz, afrobeat and reggae as a basis for learning.
