What's New in 2023 At St Margaret Hub...
We’re passionate about our community and helping those who need it. We’re proud to be starting our Community Saturday’s Winter Welcome in January 2023 and hope we will continue these every Saturday until April.
We want to offer a safe, warm and welcoming space for all ages, cultures and religious backgrounds. We will offer free hot drinks, snacks and activities.
Our list of activities will hopefully keep on growing, but currently include; from January - March creative writing lessons, From February - Learn How to Crochet... An introduction for beginners and improvers. Learn the craft of crochet, discover how to cast on and use four basic stitches: chain, double crochet, half treble and treble. We will be creating a crocheted square to create the basis for a larger project.
*These classes are for ages 16 years and over, no accompanying children or babies.
From March - craft space and artwork with local artists and craft experts.
We are always on the look out for more activities to add to our list, so if you would like to get involved, then please get in touch with the team - community@stmtq.com
Please share this with your friends, family and neighbours.
Back by popular, demand every Tuesday in January 2023 - from 6pm
“After a wonderful magical performance at the Jubilee celebrations, they are back to bring more instrument tuition to local young people".
The children will be tutored by award winning YouthSayers who will once again lead a 6-week project and it will give eight local children, aged 9-16 years an opportunity to learn a new instrument and play together as a band. At the end of the project, these young people will have a chance to perform together for their family and friends.
If you are interested in signing your child up for this project, then please contact the team - community@stmtq.com or click on the 'Find out More' button below.
